KremSol Repair consists of a specially developed combination of high-quality films. Each film has a specific function to ensure optimal performance and durability.

The films are permanently bonded to each other using an adhesive specially developed by Krempel for photovoltaic applications. The unique structure of KremSol Repair is composed of three high-performance materials:

  • Outer film PET: UV and hydrolysis stable
  • Inner film PET: Insulation protection
  • Pressure-sensitive PSA* adhesive: For optimal adhesion
  • Release film: Protection of the PSA adhesive

Instead of replacing the entire solar module, KremSol Repair offers a simple and cost-effective solution: the high-performance repair backsheet enables quick recovery of functionality – without disassembly.

Aufbringung KremSol Repair

Clean the surface of the damaged PV module thoroughly to remove all dust and grease. Use a suitable cleaning agent, e.g. IPA (isopropanol).

Peel off a piece of the protective film and fold it back. Align the repair film exactly and carefully press on the back.

Make sure that KremSol Repair is applied without bubbles. To do this, gradually peel off the remaining protective film with a squeegee and press the adhesive surface evenly over the entire width.
