Krempel UK Ltd

At the Longridge site in the north of England, Krempel manufactures a wide range of electrical insulation materials, mica and textile products and composites on an area of more than 25,000 sqm. Key manufacturing competencies at the location are impregnation, mica processing, weaving, knitting and braiding. The materials and products are mainly supplied to the energy, automotive and industry sectors. More than 170 people are employed in production and administration. All products and services are available to customers worldwide through our global sales team.

The roots of Krempel UK Ltd go back to 1923. The company has been part of the Group since the year 2000. Until 2021, it operated under the name JSI - Jones Stroud Insulations Ltd.

Longridge is a town in Lancashire with a long-standing tradition in the textile industry. Situated 8 miles to the north of the city of Preston, at the western end of Longridge Fell, a long ridge above the River Ribble. Longridge has been hailed as one of the best places for families to live in England and Wales. The town has a population of around 7,500 people.
